A long time ago… – In The Beginning

A long time ago, on 16th February 2001, our journey into the contracting world started. There was no big dream, no real plan. All I knew was that being in full-time employment was not where I wanted to be.

So on that day, our company was incorporated and I started contracting with EDS from their Head office in Telford Plaza the following Monday. The journey to secure the first contract was long and tiring, but unlike Bilbo Baggins, there were no dragons to steal from, orcs or goblins to battle, or Gollums to outwit. It was just there (Weymouth – First interview) and back again (Moray coast), with a pitstop near Telford to interview the next day, over a 10 minute coffee. Over 1300 miles in 3 days – in a 1.2 Vauxhall Corsa.

Fast forward through 20 years and many clients, having delivered national, regional and localised programmes & projects, now on my 3rd car and over 400,000 miles between the clocks, we commence our 21st year in the year 2021.
I’d just like to say a massive thank you to all our clients, colleagues and friends (past and present), who helped see us through the past 20 years of business. We wish you all the best for what we hope will be a much better year than last! Stay safe and our kindest regards!
